Today I am grateful for…

A dinner date with Richard at one of the most incredible restaurants, Many Little (Red Hill).

It’s been a great week and I’m going to use this opportunity to list down some things I’m grateful for in my life.

I feel like I don’t do this often enough - although I often think about what’s going well in my life, it’s much more real and meaningful to put those thoughts in writing.

So here goes…

  1. Family and friends who are not only loving, supportive, and kind, but who make an effort to spend time together and create amazing memories.

  2. Having a strong relationship with my hubby - although we are different people, we share the same values and have a lot of respect for each other. We’ve been together for 15 years and still going strong!

  3. Living in a suburb that feels like a community where I belong.

  4. Living in an area where it feels like we are surrounded by beautiful things - from parks and nature walks to lifestyle shopping stores and places to dine.

  5. Having my dog Leo who matches our vibe and fits really well into our lifestyle.

  6. Breathing in fresh air every day.

  7. Living in a city that appreciates great coffee.

  8. Living in a city that celebrates diversity, culture, and the arts.

  9. Having a job that allows me to work flexibly.

  10. Having the freedom to make my own choices about my life - being able to do what’s right for me and go after my goals.

  11. Having access to all kinds of creative inspiration - local bookstores, galleries and museums, fascinating documentaries, and cinematic movies.

It’s easy to get caught up in always chasing the next thing in life, but it’s so important to pause and make time for reflection and gratitude.
